I knew Michele De Lucchi as architect during my university's studies but I knew him as designer and a bit as person when I was 21 years old during an internship in his studio of Rome.That experience changed my life of architect and observer of the world.

Michele De Lucchi founded Produzione Privata in 1990 in order to design products to live with in our contemporary society using man’s basic tools and talents: the hands and the mind.
The creation finds its expression and refinement in numerous pencil drawings, water-colours and studies.

It's a little architecture, isn't it ?  You can use it when you want. To write, to draw, to read. It's in canaletto walnut and you can insert it in every part of your house or outside, for example in the garden. The writing table can be detached and if necessary clamped to the wall.

This tray is designed to be hang on the wall and when not in use it becomes artwork of beauty. It can appear as a front of building, with windows, doors and balconies.

There are different types of these trays, everyone with the name of great poets: Orazio, Catullo, Virgilio ecc..

If you hang on walls something of these ones appears a fledged architectural office with models scattered about on tables and hanging on walls.

How can we speak of Michele De Lucchi without speaking about lamps?

This creation is in glass and it's very interesting for its simple structure with a total absence of screws and metal structures.
