I hate...

"I hate parfume" is not only a great name for a perfume, it is also parfymeriet that makes the most delicious scent I know. The perfume smells not without experiences and feelings. Gathering apples, To see a flower, In the summer kitchen, Burning Leaves, In the library. Lovely!

The little black dress

“I believe laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing; kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day, and I believe in miracles.”

Studio Aandracht

These wonderful photos were taken by photographer None Powilleit home of Ben and Tatiana, the pair behind Studio Aandracht and appeared on the blog Bloesem this summer. So nice!
Thanks to Bloesem.

Another Vintage Shop: Brocéliande

44 rue des chartreux 1000 Bruxelles
Brocéliande is a vintage design store run by Fabrice Hauwaerts and his very friendly partner. You'll find there a respectable serie, among others, of sixties and seventies products in a very good state.

Bruxelles' gallery

 www.alicebxl.com
"Artists Living In Constant Elevation" is the life thread of A.L.I.C.E.

A.L.I.C.E. is a gallery, a project room, a bookshop with rare and limited editions and a shop where you can find artworks, tee-shirts, shoes and accessories.

Since the beginning, in 2005, its creativity seems to have for sole driving line "going further - always".

The gallery is well known by the world of contemporary art and Brussels underground. It is located at the very end of rue Antoine Dansaert 1000 Brussels close to the canal at number 182.

A bit of Brussels

MAPP store is probably the latest Brussels hot spot for trendsetters.

The store was open earlier last year and is located rue Léon Lepage, 5 1000 Brussels. The space is astonishing as actually you'll find there special selections of clothes for men and women, but also vinyls, cd's, books, magazine and design objects.

Cut me

rue Léon Lepage 61 1000 Brussels

One week in Bruxelles discovering the city...
"Cut Me" is at first sight very different from what you can expect from any kind of hairsalon. Inspired by an oldschool spirit, this original place is run by Fred who also periodically organises live acts and exhibitions there. Giving another look to the concept of hair!

Look Mum, no hands!

 London
Look Mum No Hands is the clever name of a new cafe/bar/bike workshop that recently opened in Old Street. Here you can enjoy some seriously delicious coffee and cake while your bike is being tended to by an expert bicycle mechanic. The interior of the former architectural showroom is pared down and airy, with a select few beautiful vintage bikes on display in the window and some large prints of past races on the walls. The minimalist look of the space is enhanced with striking details, such as the vintage lamps above the bar that have the added quirky touch of hanging from bicycle chains. They also have a lovely outdoor area that will no doubt be very busy on sunny days. The relaxed, fuss free space and staff have won me over and I will definitely not wait for bicycle problems to go there again.

Paris breakfast

La Patisserie de Reves

La Patisserie de Reves is a futuristic gallery like shop in Paris where sweet-thoothed visitors ogle spectacular pastries and gateaux.

Fred & Friends

Usually we're so sad after our vacations, but maybe it could be a little more happy if only we could bring with us a taste of that flavours...this will make our usual awakening more positive.
And why not recreating the same with our own cities?

Hearts in the dark

http://hannehvattum.com/index.php

It was a cold night. Iwas walking towards home and I was totally lost in my mind. Suddenly I moved up my eyes, I don't know why..perhaps to see the moon and I saw little lights, just like small sparkling hearts...They turned on my lauth!

Jumping

How many memories of mine childhood!...with that jumping ball I would have crossed the world.
